IBM Introduces Sametime Unyte Cloud Web Conferencing

Today, IBM announced the release of Lotus Sametime Unyte, a Cloud service web conferencing system that brings an affordable, easy to use option for businesses that need to collaborate online, with the same tools that they would have if they were meeting in person. The service supports open document formats and 9 different languages. The online service is based on a monthly subscription fee.

IBM has partnered with InterCall and together represent a two leaders in conferencing and collaboration services. InterCall is the latest service provider to bolster its portfolio with a cloud-based solution from IBM, enabling businesses of all sizes to use the Lotus Sametime Unyte Web conferencing service to instantly collaborate online. The integrated Sametime Unyte services will be available to InterCall users at the beginning of next month.

Sametime Unyte allows instant global collaboration between employees, partners and suppliers and customers.
